Med Ed Booklet & Passport

Antipsychotics and their Side Effects

The first of its kind, the Med Ed booklet and its mobile passport version provide educational content and various communication and treatment monitoring tools for people taking medications for mental health problems.

The Med Ed booklet includes 26 frequently asked questions and summary information about the uses, side effects, and safe use of psychotropic medications (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and stimulants). The communication checklists and trackers (symptoms, activities, and side effects) make the booklet active, dynamic, and geared toward the individual person.

Med Ed was created using the best available evidence regarding use, design, impact of medication resources, and management of mental health problems.
